::Features
  • Intuitive and easy operability.
    No need for complex lever manipulation like the other existing chargers, and achieves one-hand operation. Connection to the EV is made by pushing connector into the EV inlet, and is removed by pushing the release button and then pulling the connector, allowing easy operation just like a normal speed charger.
  • Lightest-class-weight in the industry and excellent operability for easy usage by all types of people, including those of advanced age.
    By careful material selection, the weight of the individual connector achieves industry’s lightest-in-class 1kg. In addition, use of a light and flexible cable makes handling the charger even easier.
  • Designed for safety with usage by everyday people in mind.
    On the basis of the specification by CHAdeMO Association, the connector is locked electrically during charging and cannot be pulled out. Also, to prevent charging when the connector is not completely mated, a mated/unmated indicator is displayed in an area that can be easily confirmed by the user, and a charging method is used that prevents charging by electrically breaking the control line when not mated.
  • An emergency cover enables maintenance on-site if necessary.
    Confirmation and maintenance of the inside of the mated connector is made possible with the connector sidewall that is detachable with a specialized tool.
  • Fabricated with high-weather resistant materials to endure harsh outdoor environment use.
    The metal parts for the key components of the connector are stainless steel and high-weather resistant material is used for the outer mold. Also, the cable is to be compatible with the UL standard, which is ideal for fast charger use.
